Totally agree. Was thinking of getting a bike for green laning The idea sounded great but quickly realised on this outing that I just love riding on the road. Luckily I didn’t actually buy the dirt bike!

Why, it looks almost like a piece of art, DD! ;) Being bored and being OCD are a dangerous combo. Unless you want to come clean out my garage!

I can wait, DD. ;) No doubt the wait will be worth it from the looks of those washers. BTW, how the heck did you get a big hole in your garage floor??

Took the GS in for it's free end of warranty check this morning. Not many hardy bikers sitting outside today. Took them about 30 minutes to plug it in and check it over before the factory warranty expires and it got a clean bill of health. The weather on the way was pretty grim, but even worse on the way home with it p1ssing down heavily all the way back. Even the main trunk roads were flooded in places but the old girl took it all in her stride. My Keis heated vest was a real God send and well with the money from sportsbikeshop. If any one wants one get it 2 sizes smaller than your usual size so it fits snugly. Bike's filthy now, just glad the gritters haven't been out so I don't have to worry about salt eating it for lunch. As you'd expect the dealer experience was top notch, free coffee in a proper cup

went for a rideout with a local group who have a bike night once a month in a local pub, in fact two different pubs on different night, invited by the guy who ruins one of them and the rideout was led by the guy who runs the other one. I had to take the kwak as the bonnie goes back to the shop tomorrow. Clocked about 160 miles in total, weather was dull and damp but some sunshine later and the roads dried out

fitted a new drive chain the other week, and only today had a chance to get it out for a quick spin, between work and the weather. parked it outside the local dealership for a photo op. then gave it a wash as it was dirty!
