IIRC the bike has been traded (or was that someone else?), but was the seat issue resolved in the end?

Not been here for a while but still pondering about the new Rocket 3. I was going to ask how you were getting on with it, but you sold it? Why?

Just genuinely interested in how owners are getting on with the bike. Looks like not too well in this case.

@littleade I think your take on things is correct at a point towards the end of his ownership when he was having some health problems , Another was the awesome power and handling of the machine he knew and so did I after one day out with him that this was going to push his own personal boundaries quite a bit, it was that good a bike, it would have no doubt got him into trouble regards his licence, :D
This caused him to sit back and rethink what he needed from a bike, he decided it wasn't all bells and whistles and what he needed was a reliable bike that would take him and his kit easily to rallies and maybe touring. He's definitely got that now but unfortunately his neck, shoulder and back pain has become worse, at the moment and because of Covid he is waiting on specialist's at the hospital deciding a way ahead for him.

I have since read the thread where he announces his decision. It's not a switch I would make, but we each have our own priorities and it's his decision to make, so cannot knock him for that.

Sorry to hear he has some other health problems affecting his riding. That's always sad to hear.

I'll look further for other R3 owners' reports on their experiences with the bike.
