A Scotsman, an Irishman and a Welshman walk into a bar. Usually there's an Englishman as well but he's at the World Cup.
I was in Bradford, Yorkshire last night. We went in to an Indian take away. While we were waiting a local tyke came in and asked for "comfort food". I was intrigued by this as comfort food to me is a plateful of cottage pie or something similar. I wondered if Yorkshire comfort food might be chicken curry on a giant yorkshire pudding or something like that. So I got into a conversation with this guy and it turns out that "comfort food" in a Yorkshire take away actually means "I have come for the food" (that I ordered).
