Had this cheap kitchen clock for almost fifty years. It was purchased for our first apartment in the summer of '74. It has hung in the kitchen of our present house since '77. Wife was taking down the mistletoe yesterday and she bumped the clock. It fell. I think she was just killing time. Really ticked me off. I'm going to miss that face. Guess it was time for it to go. RIP faithful little clock. Time has run out for you.
For 4 years, I bought a clock at Target, it quit after a year, I buy a new one and return the old one ("doesn't work, there's something wrong with it"). Eventually they stopped carrying the specific clock. So I bought a digital wall clock instead this time. The display died after 12 months and 3 weeks. True story.
