    Just decided to measure the sag measurements for my stock suspension Street Twin. I followed the guide shared by Bad Billy that a printed out a while ago;
    https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/suspension-setup-a-simple-guide-to-help-you.18373/

    I only measured the rear as that is the only one with adjustment as far as I know. I measured;
    Static Sag 7mm
    Loaded Sag 42mm
    I weigh just over 90kg.

    I haven't adjusted from the stock setting 1 yet, I may try 2 to see how it feels and what it measures, but seems I need to go the opposite way for each? Anyone else measured stock sag?

    Whilst bouncing in the seat I noticed lots of squeaking spring noise from the front suspension with each bounce and relax. Assuming this is an issue, I have never removed the boot, should I be doing some sort of maintenance on the front?

    Took my bike to the dealers and they assured me it was fine. Could barely here the squeak there with the road noise, in my shed it seemed louder.

    I adjusted the back to position 2 and it rides so much better. The feeling of being thrown forward over bumps has mostly gone now.
