I know it works as I had one years ago for a Yamaha cruiser. As far as price goes, it is advertised on eBay at £85 plus £15 postage, so am a bit unsure if a conventional lift may be a better idea at this cost?

How about some bobbins and a paddock stand.

As far as I can gather from comments on this forum, the Speedmaster is very low and it is difficult to find a paddock stand to fit.

Wow. I’d eat my hat if it weren’t possible to get a paddock stand to fit.

Here’s one - interesting as it works towards the centre of the bike, but there are other more traditional ones that also claim to work.

Thankfully I don’t have a hat and have no intention of borrowing one of Havit’s stetsons, so I can’t lose...

Ps: I have a Tiger 800 XRx Low - this doesn’t have a centre stand so I bought a paddock stand from infinity. Works perfectly and makes chain maintenance a doddle. Until then I’d be pushing the bike a few inches, spraying the visible chain, pushing forward a few inches for a new bit of chain and spraying that. It would take ages...

PPS: here’s a thread about paddock stands and speed masters https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/best-paddock-stand.14379/
There’s talk about how to get the bike into a paddock stand when ur alone. Sounds dodgy to me. My technique when in need of help is to stand by the fridge. In hardly any time at all a strapping son will appear for some food. A little coercion is all it takes to acquire a begrudgingly helping hand.
