Ducatiortriumph is correct in what he says, remember when fitting an end can exhaust you have removed the second cat, however the sensor is fitted to the front cat so no additional mods are required, unlike the new models all have a one piece exhaust system and therefore you do need the mods and a re map, however this will invalidate the warranty, so fit it as Ducatiortriumph says. I have both a Yoshimura and Scorpion for mine, I switch them round fairly regular as the mood takes me, and just carry out those simple steps. Ride safe all from an ageing Rocker.
The bike is getting picked up by the dealer this week. Let's see what the issue is. Hardly confidence inspiring.
2021 speed triple 1200rs New petrol tank ( paint defects) New engine Cases Fuel gauge stopped working Low oil pressure warnings New gearbox Intermittent starting problem (been at dealers at month now) New starter solenoid New switch gear New wiring loom All this and the bike's only covered 8,000 miles......and triumph UK reckon its "Fit for purpose ".....which I'm on going dispute with them.......WOULD NEVER BUY TRIUMPH AGAIN.....
I jad an interesting conversation today with an independent garage. They said that modern bikes have a lot more sensors and that the sensors cannot cope with pressure washers, also the wiring loons are made from smaller csa cables since the led evolution ie will not last as long as older bikes. This is the first and only Triumph I too will ever own just too unreliable.
