Stopped off at the Log Cabin Hotel in Kirkmichael,it's been closed for a few years and there were rumours it was re opening..not yet anyway
Jut returned from a 4 day trip around Scotland. Went from Yorkshire up to Peebles for 1 night, then 2 in Moffat. Really good trip, the weather was hit and miss but probably better than forecast. Out of the 8 bikes, 5 were GS's, but it proves that you can still tour with sporty tyres and limited luggage!
Wee run up to Braemar this afternoon and took the road up to Mar lodge & Linn of Dee (about 5 miles from Braemar,it's a dead end but worth doing it as it's a brilliant road)
wasn't planning on going out on my bike today, but i did..up Glenshee to Braemar..lovely weather for 6th October even at over 2000ft it wasn't cold
