Cheers Glyn mate, i have nothing but praise for my dealer, all i can say is I'm really not happy with my bike, its a catch 22 for me, i love everything about the rs, nothing comes close to the look and feel of it..... all that aside I'm finding it hard now to maintain ownership of it, its been very problematic

Looks great Gled! How long did you do the trip over? A mate and I are looking at doing something similar next year.

 

Long story.

My missus followed us in my van with her bike (Triumph Bobber) in the back. She didn’t want to do the whole ride but we stayed for two nights on three occasions so she could do a circular route with us back to the digs.

We did it over nine days but you could do it at a fairly leisurely pace over five days.

My mate did it in two days with one stop over on an SV650

Don't normally use the Speedy for work but thought I would make the most of the weather with after work trundle round the lanes. Views of the Lakeland fells towards Coniston, winding road over Woodland Fell and the sun shining on the Duddon Estuary. I love living here

Had a holiday travelling round the Rockies and thought it was incredible. One of the highlights was sitting in Miette Hot Springs looking down the valley-amazing. Have you been there?

 

No I haven’t been to Jasper yet. One day I will ride there. It’s about a 12 hour ride from where I live. I’m on Vancouver Island BC, which is as west as you can get in Canada. There are some epic roads on the way to Jasper. A stop in Banff on the way would be very nice as well. I have yet to experience most of what BC has to offer, on a motorcycle.

 

Spend the weekend over in the Ozark Mountains, weather was great and roads were fine

 

Needed a Speedy fix so nipped round Coniston and Hawkshead prior to Muddysumps visit tomorrow. Beautiful day with slight nip on the digits I am sure heaven would look a bit like this, not that I will ever find out!
