Apparently the best method is to use dental floss in a sawing action to separate the adhesive from the reflector then white spirit or similar to take the remaining adhesive from the fork leg.
I use fishing line. But before I start sawing, I used a handheld hair dryer and heat the heck out of the reflector so the adhesive is soft. That seems to make the process a bit easier. Or, being I'm from Arizona, at this time of the year we can just park our bikes outdoors for an hour (or maybe ever 5 minutes) to get the same result. But main thing you need is patience!
If I've not already said it, welcome aboard the forum, hope you'll enjoy it, where about did you take the pic?
Spin round local lanes trying suspension adjustments, better but bit more time needed I reckon. Will try the procedure mentioned on other threads.
Vulpes, Top of Gawthwaite looking towards Coniston way. I am on the road through Broughton Beck into Ulverston. Spoilt for choice view wise round here!
Thanks mate. I was a lurker on T595.net back in the day, only recently found this forum. The photo was taken somewhere near East Meon I think, on a minor road from Winchester down to Emsworth.
Well I hope you'll have some fun on here, they're a great bunch, ah, right, just wondered as the Jurassic coast line is one of my fav rides, worth a look if you're that way at any point.
Wife was away today seeing Rod Stewart in Lytham (I know) so spent the afternoon with my son and grandson at the Ulverston Retro Festival looking at some 'proper' British bikes as witnessed with the oil all over the floor! Then had a spin round Coniston this evening, well just because really!
