He dont need or use optics or even a glass @RIDGE Normally straight from the bottle, (Makem supporter)
Having to make two of everything can be quite challenging to get them the same Held the two bits of flat bar together with mole grips for marking out and drilling then put them in my vice for shaping and filing I don’t have any fancy tools But I’ve got my trusty lump hammer Used an old tow ball and the lump hammer to get the desired shape
Wor lass went shopping tonight while I was in the garage Brought this in for me as well as a few bottles of that lovely IPA that I like So I intend to crack on and get as much done as I can tomorrow and Friday before having a pretend night at the pub (back garden) on Friday night
Getting there Dilli, Be interesting to see how much movement/flex you get once pannier fitted and loaded. PS - Please dont check with full bottles of JD, for now empty's will do.
When the pannier mounting plate is screwed into place and everything is tightened up its solid Gotta take it all apart for paint but I’m chuffed to bits with how it’s turned out so far
That is looking like a proper professional job @dilligaf , how much do you reckon you have saved against triumph oem parts?
Yep looking good marra that plate really helps strengthen it even more, great job took your time though
Well over a grand mate The Triumph system was £1305 Costs so far for me £124 for a welder Less than £20 for a auto weld mask About £25 for some paint and other stuff I already had the boxes that I bought for less than £20 each
What a fine example of a well loved Yorkshireman's Tweezer! Just right for those delicate/intricate jobs!
