If I don't have to go anywhere in the rain/wet then I won't . As I only have a bike it's either the bike or shanks pony. Raining or just in the wet to me it's getting a decent field of vision that I find is the main problem
I need to go and visit my accountant tomorrow but the forecast is rubbish, so I'll be taking the car. My parents have hinted that as I'm currently between contracts I should ride up to see them so they can see my new T100, but the weather has been so rubbish all month and is forecast to stay that way that I'll not be going, or maybe I'll wander up on the train for a change. Having no car until I was 24 means I did so many wet, cold and miserable miles on two wheels I am quite happy not to do any more if I can easily avoid it. Sometimes I get caught out which is fine - if we only venture out of the garage on bright, warm, cloudless days there would be precious little riding done.
