For daily writeups I'm only keeping my Wordpress Blog upto date, so visit there for life on the road. But heres a few photos from yesterday in Hamburg and some from Malmo today Malmo coming next
Malmo's writeup is done and more photos can be seen. Very, very big ride today 550kms so breakfast and an early start is required.
thats all forgotten now (at least by me ). i have new boots which are much better. Anyway around 1300kms into my journey. I'm 70kms short of Oslo staying friends and being attacked by Basil Brush and his friend the giant Irish Wolf hound. Basil is a right little biter, but thank god hes still small. Blog up to date.
Malmo is beautiful. I was working at Copenhagen airport a few years ago and we had to take some time off work (Danish law... if we had worked more days without time off they were worried the local engineers would have gone on strike!) so we took the train over the bridge. That is a feat of engineering in itself!
Norway is absolutely stunning. Guys make the effort and visit. You won't regret it. Today was a long one but now sat by a lake and on my second beer. 2000 Kms covered and still heading north. It's strange riding this distance and still riding further away from home. Rode through a heavy shower, stopped to cover things up and put the action camera away and then the sun came out. Strange weather here. It can be sunny and hot then cloudy and rainy. But the majority of the time it's been lovely
Well I didn’t find it easy to do cos I’m a thicko But I’ve managed to make a donation Good luck with your trip Nikki
Enjoying your blog, Nikki. Lots of familiar images! I only went as far north as trondheim, but I'm sure it'll be gorgeous further north. You'll enjoy the "Trollstigsveien"!
Did the Trollstigen road today and the Geiranger Fjord. Pretty amazing. Waspy running well. But my bottom keeps getting pummeled. I should've brought my Hawk air cushion thingy. I'm now in Molde. Day 7 is ready for your perusal.
