How about an '' Events page''.....which would detail events throughout the biking season, over the UK & Europe,such as shows,bike fests,music fests,charity runs etc.keeping them all on the one page for information only.This could include the G.M.U. as well,something I have not been to yet leaving blogs for separate page. Also a ''Market Place''... with, members bikes for sale/wanted, parts for sale/wanted, accessories for sale/wanted, wanted other than Triumph for sale other than Triumph.
To be honest I cant keep up with all the stuff on here now, let alone more sensible sections that end up getting covered in crap, crayons and Black paint anyway.
This forum is much better than most other forums in being friendly to new (and existing) members that ask questions on subjects that have often been well covered in the past. To avoid offending the answers are usually re-stated in the new thread. It would help considerably if members (not always new) were encouraged to make better use of the search function, of course in a friendly manner, I hate seeing the high and mighty attitude often seen on other forums. This would cut down the number of essentially duplicate threads.
@Rob it seems everybody seems pretty happy with the way the forum is but there is a few good suggestions here
BUMP..a lot of new members since this was first posted, so if anyone has any good ideas for improving this site lets hear them @Rob there has been quite a few good ideas here , whats your thoughts?
I think it's a great site and free from boring moderation and illegal content as in nothing IS illegal as far I can tell.... . I do find it a bit difficult to navigate the personal area to see what I am following etc.. generally great though !
