Had a phone call last night and a very good friend of mine is in intensive care with broken ribs and collapsed lung, and other injuries, and with his pillion is in surgery having her ankle and other leg repaired. I have been out for a couple of short blasts around town since the weather warmed up. I find the roads in bad shape. Some nasty cracks and chunks missing. Lots of sand and debris. Road crews probably behind due to the virus lockdown. Be careful everybody. ...J.D.
