Less than the cost of one beer (£3) for a week's worth of TV seems great value to me. I don't watch much TV, but there is usually something on in the week I like to see. And as for bias, the left-leaning folks say the BBC is the Tory government mouthpiece, and the right-wing folks say it's all socialist propaganda. That tells me it's probably pretty well bang on. The only time I watch commercial television is for bike racing (TT, BSB and MotoGP).
