My heart said Go, Rocket to the moon. Black and chrome come hither. The deal is done but made too soon, There is no time to dither Days of power, blinding light The rush of blood to the head. One mistake can bring the night We all will end up dead. Consider now the beast without, and what good purpose thou. Perhaps this ride is not for thee. A excellent choice is now.
Well Sandi, with our age, the adventure for most of us is in the head, while the chill creeps up our arses...
Pleased for you mate, looks like you found your perfect match then, Chrystal will love it! But Red? What happened to Black is the bestest colour - Black Bikes Matter!
Not to worry, It won't hurt long. I know what led to the decision. About 20 years ago, I bought a Kaw ZREX1200. Brilliant bike, fast as hell. For me, this bike was like a drug. I could not stay off the throttle. Everywhere I went turned into the latest attempt at the land speed record. I decided that I had to get rid of it, before it got rid of me! Like I said, it hurt, but not for long!
Congrats on the new tiger dilligaf,For the uk it’s a better choice for riding on pot holed roads when it’s pissing down than a rocket,it might not look as nice parked at a cafe but bikes are for riding ,good luck.
Just picked this thread up @dilligaf and I don’t blame you for changing if your not happy. Nice chose of bike to replace the R3 and on the Tiger it’ll not feel like the cheeks of your arse are dragging on the road like on the last few bikes you’ve owned
Well he wasn't joking when he said he was clutching at straws! Got to agree about the lack of colour choice though. Quickshifter was the best I tried - way better on the downshift than the Tracer or the BMW.
At least if he gets wet wearing textile trousers, as opposed to his leathers, he won't think he's got cancer 'cos his legs have turned black!
VERY sorry to hear about this Dilli, but all I would say is that it takes a big man to admit when he's made a mistake. Hope your new bike will bring you more and longer-lasting satisfaction, Dave
