    Laying the numberplate back is a great idea as well as shortening the indicators, I used Duncan's ideas when I made my new bracket. Here's a pic from when I first did it (running clear lenses now), really cleaned up the back of the guard.

    Thanks Tommy can't really say much now regards info that was seven years ago and being no spring chicken memory can't be relied on,
    It was just a standard single seat and as I could not source an affordable rear rack I chose a cheap Chinese copy and made slight changes to fixing points.
    Below pic of my current Tbird Nightstorm using the same changes.
