    Yep that's the original.

The newer RV125 still has the balloon tyres, although mine looks a little different as I'm using non OEM tyres.

Suzuki have actually also just released a 200cc of the Van Van. Great fun little bikes and good for going off road too!

I know. It's more than £500 cheaper than the other cheapest/potential buy I saw (now gone though) and that one was all the way in Hull!

This one ticks all the boxes other than the colour I'm after. I've been there before with re-sprays. It's always a nervous anxious wait and doesn't always turn out how you'd hoped.

    Not sure.

    Hi and welcome.

Change of colour will affect resale. I wouldn't look at a resprayed bike, unless seriously cheap. Makes you think its been cat D' or similar.

When buying second hand, buy the best one, not the colour choice. Please don't be offended, but it's usually girlie's that go for colour rather than price, mileage, spec , etc.

IMHO black is a pain in the arse - shows up muck terrible and the swirl marks are annoying as hell, not sure I would buy black again. Tank contact with jacket, tank bags, gloves etc, leave marks and horrible to get out.

Buy the lowest mileage, best condition, newest bike you can find, with a decent set of tyres and looks like it has been cared for.

If you want a 'perfect' bike, buy new and suffer the depreciation !

Thanks for the honesty Mr Orange. Can't say I disagree with any of that. I can't see myself spending 5k+ and then end up spraying the bike another colour. Just doesn't make sense. I'm ok with doing it to the 'little' bikes I've owned as they're not pricey, but not with something like this.

My 'preferred' colour choice is still black. It's just what I've had my heart set on. But the red one I posted from auto trader looks very good and the more I look the more I feel like getting in touch with the seller to take a look.

Plus looks like he's open to offers. Would leave me enough money to pick up the few other bits I wanted.

It is from the original Triumph ad.
Sorry, I couldn't open the auto-trader link, but as far as I know, it is the only red they coated the 900 EFI in.
    At least in continental Europe...

well mine's a 2012 and she's done over 14000 now and thats not much use, so that's fairly low mileage. Red isnt as bad as you think, in the flesh its not that bad @Thruccyboy s is red and is pleasing to the eye. Those photos were taken just down Battersea way by the looks of things so easy to get to. They are talking offers so bear in mind the 12000 service isnt that far away.

I know the spot Crispey. I do a couple days work in SW1 and ride just past where it looks like those pics were taken. That's what I had in mind (the service) when they said they were open to offers.

Personally I think the red looks really smart but I know where you're coming from with the colour!

For a long time I had my heart set on a Bonneville Spirit as I loved the finish but as one never came up I got the Scrambler and have been more than happy!

I'd just always assumed I'd get a black one. Hadn't even opened myself up to the idea of anything else. But the more I look at pictures of the red thruccy the more I like it :)

I'm going to msg the seller.
