Hello from North Carolina. I ride a 2023 Triumph Speedmaster. Got it second hand couple months ago and was loving it.
And then ran into issues and will be asking for help and suggestions here.

    Cheers all !

    Nice Speedy. I have a 2018.

Now, I'm not "casting shade" your way, and this may just be a manifestation of my slight case of OCD. Also, I realize you have other issues to tend to, but I believe your bags are mounted backwards; left on right side and vice versa. Maybe you like your bags mounted that way (personal preference). The way they are now caught my eye (again - the OCD) because I look at things and see the need for them to flow aerodynamically. So, I looked online for photos of Triumph Speedmasters with bags and every one with the same style hard bags had them mounted opposite of the way they are on your bike, that is with the hump and the diagonal side toward the front. I have slouch leather bags, so maybe I should just keep my mouth shut. Feel free to tell me to piss off.

@Fork Lock : No offense taken and great observation there sir ! you're exactly right. I usually ride with just one saddle bag I never paid attention to the cues of the slope and that's me being lazy.
Can't wait to get it back from the dealership. Its been there for 2 months now..
separation anxiety at its peak for me now : unamused:
Please see above for a link describing the problem if you can shed some thoughts on that.

    Appreciate it ! Ride safe.

And I love the whitewalls on yours! Are they stock size? Where did you procure from?

That's not my ride! I just pulled a couple pics of Speedys with hard bags off the web. Mine has the red tank and black fenders - no whitewall tires. As I said, I have sloppy, leather, slouch bags.

As for your electrical issues - my mechanical/electric skills date back to the Jurassic period when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and vehicles had generators, ignition points and carburetors. Motorcycles had kick starters. I have not kept up with the modernization of engines with electronic fuel injection, ECUs, etc. I wouldn't know where to begin to try to diagnose your issues, although it does sound like something grounding out somewhere. Gremlins?

Good luck with it, though. I hope they are able to sort it out for you. I'd hate to see you soured on the brand over this.

    Please keep us posted.

Now you have me thinking about whitewalls. And I have thought about having my tank repainted to look like yours. I like that color scheme, but I've gotten so many compliments on the red/black combo I've just left it alone.

@Fork Lock - The red black combo is really nice. Before the Triumph, I had a cafe racer in a red white black paint scheme. I never imagined i would buy a bike in anything but black, but that 3 color paint really caught eye.
You got a the cute pouch back of the pillion seat.

Chin bag that there is no room for up under the headlamp. Great for storing little stuff that you don't want to have to root for in the big bags (registration, small flashlight, kickstand puck, etc.)

No, I'm from Durham, England UK . The nearest I've been to NC is spending a month in and around Poplar Bluff MO back in August.

I've noticed that a lot of placenames in the US are the same as places in England. I'm guessing that the early settlers named those places after their home towns / cities back in Engalnd.
