In 1970 I bought my first bike at the age of sixteen, it was a Triumph Tiger Cub that was two years older than me. it cost me 10 quid and when I sold it two years later I took a massive loss of fifty percent,It's funny when you think about it now when a packet of fag's cost more than that these day's.

My first motorcycle was a Kawasaki H1. It is kind of a miracle that I survived the thing! Stolen from my college after a short 3 month love affair!

Can you tell them to get a move on as we had to cancel our trip to Glencoe and it's now rebooked for August. The way it's going seems it might be cancelled again. Might even let you buy me a coffee while i am there.
    Regards
    Joe

Perhaps you survived that Kawi BECAUSE it was stolen after just 3 months, @Ultratoad! ;):p

Could have been a lucky thing. Although I'm sure it didn't seem so at the time.

Saw a lad killed right in front of me on one. A car pulled out a side road on him he never had to brake. I was 16 still see it now.

Travel restrictions were lifted a couple weeks ago. Hoping to head up to Glencoe on Sunday!
