I knew it was bad when the police called to say they'd found it and getting it away quickly was really imperative. They said they'd removed valuables ( handed me a bin bag with an AA manual) I thought the car must be effed. Plod isolated the vehicle ( removed sissy cap and leads) they were just going to drop me off - in the dark - working out the firing order etc. The car was totalled by insurer when back in Wales. All dials, graphic equaliser, stereo and speakers - gone....
Those old Fords had the worst lock system ever. Just slide a metal coat hanger down the door jamb and pull up the lock knob. Three minutes and you were in. That timeline includes looking for the coat hanger ! The ignition switches weren’t much better , any old Ford key would work in the barrel once it had a bit of wear on it.
There is one on ebay £8500. must say agree not my finest moment selling mine too. Funny how the old bikes and cars we just parted with are worth a fortune now...
The only one I regret selling , my daughter didn't like the pillion .. Stage IV 95" motor (108hp at the wheel), chrome everything and real silver leaf paint job

WTF you sold it cos your daughter didn't like the pillion seat??? Jeez what is the world coming to. I kept mine coz the wife didn't like the pillion seat
I wanted her to ride with me so I got a Street Glide , which in hindsight was a great choice , I've had it since 2007 , the heated grips, seat , and stereo make long trips a dream, the TFC is for when I want to have fun. There's nothing I wouldn't do to see her smile ...
Regretted selling my 98 Blade. But if I hadn't got rid of that, I wouldn't have a Daytona in the garage now, so swings and roundabouts. DS
