Hello, I'm trying to install a Yoshimura Alpha slip-on, on to my 2018 STriple. Problem is, I can't quite get the bracket to match up. Everything is slipped together as much as they'll go, but I just can't seem to find the few mm required to match it up. See the picture, it's a good 10mm away from being perfect. Anyone got any tips for me? It's not the most complicated thing in the world so I'm not sure what I'm missing.
Can you loosen the footrest bolts? As it doesn’t look that far off and that might give you the wiggle room to get the bolt through the hanger then tighten it all up and it should pull everything into line
Hi Greg, Please post a photo of the exhaust fitted, I have an Arrow on mine at moment but it is a little too quiet for my liking, what does the Yoshi sound like? Cheers Billy
Sure. I'll post pics and a video when I get home. I've gone from stock to Yoshimura and by comparison the Yoshi is obscene. It might take a bit of getting used to. On the way to work I was worried I was gonna get pulled over.
Here you go. My garage is a bit tight so I can't get the full bike in, but it looks and sounds great. https://photos.app.goo.gl/26KRZ46eCpBrFm5b2 In the video you can hear my girlfriend shout at me at the end cos I was making too much noise
Sounds nice mate, certainly louder that the Arrow I have on, not sure whether to change or what to as I like the SC Project one as well I like the look of the Arrow, maybe I can get it de-catted (you know what I mean!). Should have told your girlfriend not to shout as the neighbours might get upset
I haven't noticed anything obvious. I am a pretty inexperienced rider though, what kind of fuelling issues might there be?
