Looking at a Tiger 900 Rally Pro, I've seen a bike at a local independent dealers with 12000 miles on it, its a decent price but would you go for it or would you only buy from an approved Triumph dealer?
I’ve just over 12000 miles on my Rally Pro. It’s just over 18 months old. The very low mileage bikes would be more of a worry for me. Why don’t they have any miles on? Have they been in the workshop being fixed for a long time? Have they been crashed and rebuilt? Therefore off the road for a long time.
My fireblade is 7 years old and not quite 10000 miles it’s the most pampered thing in my life (and that includes my wife and kids - though they’re all grown ups now). It only goes out after all the salt has been washed away, on dry roads and when there’s no worry of rain whilst out. People have bikes for different reasons
You'll be covered by the consumer rights act 2015 irrespective of whether it's an indy or main dealer if there's anything wrong with it. Does it come with a decent warranty?
I have a tiger 900gtpro 21 plate from new and its now got over 16000 miles on the clock.....its mint and I love it.......its probably worth 9.5k but what's the point changing it for a new one it wouldn't be any better......enjoy the riding
I’ve got 21 plate Tiger 900 GT Pro with just short of 18k miles Marty. She still runs like a dream & I love it. Ask for a test ride & give her a go.
You haven’t mentioned what year the bike is or the actual price, so difficult to comment. If the bike has a full service history and looks clean and well maintained and you are happy with the price, then test ride it and if all is good go for it. Any doubts then walk away.
