    Very late to the party today, but I strangely discovered that there is such a publication as the “Oxford Advanced American Dictionary”. Now I have always understood that there is the King’s English and everything else is a mistake?

    I went back to the Island this year, some 55 years since my last visit and just happened to meet someone who was in the same branch of TOMCC as me back in the sixties. When I showed him a group photo from back in the day we discovered that we were both on it. Serendipitous or what?
