After a long lunch yesterday ( that went on until 10.00pm..) my brain hurts and it took me 5 goes….Mrs did it in 3. So I’ve got a head ache and a triumphant wife who won’t let me forget her win this morning… it could be a long day…
Actually, I did quite a bit of reasoning to get that second word… I might have got it then too, but I was indecisive about the start letter
Got to ring a bell in five , was getting letters in all sorts of places , after none in first two guesses !
Sneaky little fecker this morning…coffee was just off hot… Mrs did it in 3 I was another 4 with a miraculous recovery. ( I didn’t have many letters left…!) Beautiful sunrise over The Chiltern hills this morning ..
You did well after a dismal start. I still only had two letters after my third go. Congrats to Mrs Oldskool.
It is so easy to do. One of my sons did exactly the same today as I have in the past. Before I press the button now I check for letters in a slot previously excluded, letters that are known not to be needed, all known letters are included. I have mentioned earlier that the allowed words may not conform to standard English but one allowed today would be regarded by most of us as bad English. I will elucidate tomorrow.
You're so organised and systematic. I spend five minutes throwing all sorts of words onto the screen and if some stick, that's great .
I had the answer after 15 minutes but then spent the next three quarters of an hour convincing myself that there were no other permutations that were worth considering. AAARGH
