As long as you have the appropriate map all you need is tunecu , a laptop and the appropriate cable. It's have the correct map thou.
Am no use with computers mate i did have ago a few years back with a gsxr and made it worse so need someone to flash it for me
Not sure if there's anyone that close to you Gary. Other options are your Triumph dealer or a place where they tune bikes up. Its not something I've had to do myself so not sure how it works. Let's see if any one else can advise you
I am looking at buying a laptop specially for Tunecu As long as your laptop is capable of handling the programme ( new enough), then its download tunecu , download appropriate map , and load . I have read loads in forums and will post on here for advice. I am close to you, only I lack the experience using the tool so your on your own and could end up helping me at this rate. I have not read anything from new or old users about anyone getting stuck or causing any problems for there bikes. and so I assume its all straight forward or they dont admit their defeats.
I sent the ducati one to a mate he did it for me was hoping for someone that does this failing that it looks like trying to get a power commander
Hi Gary, I understand that you say you are not very confident with computers but honestly with a laptop and the TuneECU program (free to download and use) and an OBD cable it's a straightforward job to do. The key to it is to save the map that's in the bike already, so IF anything goes wrong, you can always just go back to that.
I have just made a thread aking questions about Tunecu if we watch this by the end of the week we may both be up and running. http://www.thetriumphforum.co.uk/threads/tunecu-what-all-you-need-to-know.9582/
