Did the NC Street Shield work out for you/ I'm considering it for my T100. I'd like to hear from somebody who's put it on a Bonnie before I get it.

    Thanks

Yes, you should get a windshield at least 17″ tall (measured above the headlight). That taller size will give you much better wind protection than your current 14″ screen. If it ends up too tall, you can always cut it down to suit your height and riding position.

Well kids, for my T120, I finally found the most comfortable combination of 24 inch windshield from Madstadt and I got their lowers which attach seamlessly to the windshield; and when you remove the quick detach windshield, the lowers go along with it - easy peasy. Almost 0 wind coming at me; if shield was wider a bit, it would be 0. Happy Camper.

But, alas and alack, Madstadt has gone out of business as far as I know.

Going taller to around 17" makes sense if the current 14" screen is still too low for you. Just keep in mind that on a Bonneville, too much height or the wrong shape can push turbulence into helmet level and make buffeting worse instead of better. The airflow needs to clear your helmet cleanly, not hit it. Your idea of buying a slightly taller screen and trimming it down is actually a good way to dial it in properly.
