Looks a lot like mine at the mo (except for those motorway chicken strips). Really glad you're enjoying the best sportsbike/tourer/streetbike on the planet again. Fuck off, Pig, there's not a combination of 'edits' you can throw up that I've not already thought of.
Just got back from a 150 mile round trip to Essex. Cold, uncomfortable and unpleasant (but enough about Essex). A cross wind all the way there and riding into a very bright sun on the way back (still with blustery wind to deal with). Have to say that getting some Oxford Hot Grips fitted to the America a few weeks ago has proved a very good investment :upyeah:
Nothing better than nice toastie hands when it's cold Makes all the difference I've not gone as far as getting the inners zipped into my textiles yet but I don't think it's gonna be far away....
Won a Exhaust and set of mirrors for my Trident on E Bay so things are starting to come together for getting it back on the road
I'm not ashamed to say, I tax and ride from April to September. I don't ride outside of this 6 month window ever. Yer, I'm a pussy alright. BUT........ my bikes are always like new.
Really? For what it costs i keep my bike taxed all year round. You get some nice warmish dry days between September & April too View attachment 2163
Fair play but keeping it like new for the next owner...? Life is too short - enjoy your toys - we're not here for a long time we're here for a good time :upyeah: BTW my bikes are like new and I use em all year - cleaning is a therapeutic hobby. Each to his own and thats the point.
I don't mind riding in the cold but I keep the bikes off of the road as soon as the salt turns up as I have wrecked a couple of bikes already riding all year round, that's what cars are for
