"Doom Bar", @dilligaf?? Seems a rather ominous and forboding name for an ale during these pandemic times.
We're interspersing cooking at home with supporting some of our local restaurants by doing curbside pickup for dinner. Last night Mr. Sandi went to a great little taco place that originally was a food cart at a weekly swap meet. Unfortunately they (mis)timed their transition to brick & mortar right in the midst of a pandemic shut-down. We've gotten take-out from them twice now and will be going back for more. Terrific Mexican food--right at the top and that's saying a lot in Tucson. Accompanied my quesadilla, guacamole, beans, and tacos al pastor with this delicious tequila. https://www.tacorustico.com
I've been ripping up old and rotten decking all day in the blazing sun. Now completely cream crackered and sun burnt, sat down this evening, home curry and two cans of Fostered, binged watch Gavin and Stacy, had a large brandy and bed. Sun burnt and back ache. Least it didn't rain. Can someone ell me how to put photos on the forum and how to add an Avatar. Please remember I'm a technophobe so nice simple words.

So many choices...... I think it’s going to be a Teramana Tequila kind of night. To expand on this thread I’ll list what I have available in the cabinet. Teramana Reposado and Blanco tequila, local distillery Tennessee Hills vodka, gin, and barrel aged rum, honey mead, Crown Royal, Hat Trick barrel aged gin from Charleston, SC., Monkey Shoulder blended scotch, Firefly Distillery Sweet Tea Bourbon and vodka from Charleston, SC., as well as the various mixers for Negronis, margaritas, gin and tonics, scotch/bourbon and sodas. A few bottles of red to mix it up. Hopefully one day I’ll graduate up from this starter kit.
Quite fancy monkey shoulder, had many a good night timpling some PS had to laugh at dead pecker (bourbon??)
The Dead Pecker is a dark aged rum from Tennessee Hills Distillery in my hometown. Some tasty swill there. I’m three glasses of tequila in so far so typing with one eye closed to hit the right buttons...
