Opened a bottle of 2012 Sam Adam's Utopia. 27% alcohol aged beer moved from cask to cask released every other year. Found it on Flea Bay, cost an arm and a leg and worth it. Drink it in a 2 oz. pour like a great Scotch. Fan flipping tastic!!

    Can't stand Scotch either.
I joined the Lambs Navy a while back and am happy to drink with the Good Captain!
Lambs Navy rum mixed with Crabbies alcoholic ginger beer instead of coke - works for me!:D:D:D

I don't normally drink rum but from time to time I make a kind of Italian style chocolate trifle. Anyway, the first part involves pitting some fresh cherries and then soaking them in Lamb's rum overnight. The rum is a real treat to drink the next day. The cherries aren't bad either.

    Bloody hell, yeah! Outstanding brew.

Me, I'm drinking a 'beton' (trans. concrete) - Becherovka from the freezer, Indian tonic water, squeeze of lemon and lime juices, over wedges of juicy oranges. Very more-ish. Made in Karlovy Vary in Bohemia from where #1 Son's SWMBO originates. It's got it's own museum!

Edit: Auntie Google reports the the producer says only two people know the secret of the entire production process and may enter the Drogikamr room—where, once a week, they mix the herbs and spices used in the drink, some of which are grown locally, others imported.

.......Mrs dickydido bought this for my 61st birthday.......she said it 'was more expensive than Unicorn Tears'..........it is always reserved for those special occasions ......high days and holidays or celebrations.....And I have to say, no matter how much it cost, it is fabulous, delicious and very definitely, moreish!......

.......well, it's Bank Holiday Monday, it's Easter and I have been 'on the tools' all day sorting out mine and the neighbours lawns....... he is 91 and his wife is 93........and he was a paratrooper, so he's done his bit!.......

....so this evening, this came out for the evening 'aperitif and wind down reviving elixir'......

    ......Bottoms up!.....

Having just returned from a week long house warming party in Texas where I consumed mass quantities of 1800 Anejo Tequila and countless pints of Guinness Stout I am drinking H2O.

Just put a nipple on the bottle I am a baby tonight, lol.

Only 2 PM here yet it is a Friday, which is really irrelevant as I am happily retired early, and I am enjoying my first glass of 1800 Reposado Tequila with a splash of lemon juice....marvelous drink on a 90 degree day :).

I don't hate it all, I like a macallan and Scapa is very good.
What I really hate is whisky ponce'Ness. If you mention the smoke from the oak barrel or caramel, etc I'll punch you in the throat!!!:D
