Forgive me brothers/sisters for I have sinned .... I had Pink Gin & Tonic complete with frozen summers fruits (don't want ice watering it down!), I have to say in the heat over the weekend it was bloody lovely! I have no doubt I am now gonna get slated by some of you testosterone pumped neanderthals!
Not just by the testosterone pumped ones, Billy. But....at least you're getting some fruit servings in your daily diet.
Can't believe a lady member is giving me stick! Part of my five a day (portions of fruit, not amount of alcoholic beverages! .... I have more than 5 of them!)
Hi, DD. Yes, I think I've found my "spirit"ual home in this thread. I do love a good cocktail--well, actually, an excellent cocktail. My motto is if you're gonna do something, do it right. (Like buying my Speed Triple RS) Yikes! I appreciate the heads up on Dilli. I had no idea about the risk incurred by my involvement in this particular thread but I consider myself warned. However, I may not be able to resist continued involvement. See my next post as evidence. Dilli, consider yourself warned if you are following this thread. Mr. Sandi has a black belt in tae kwan do and will not hesitate to use it to defend our marriage...though these days he might need 20 minutes or so to sufficiently warm up enough to use his skills. My other saving grace for the time being at least is that my car thermometer registered 100 degrees F at 8:30pm this evening as I was driving home from happy hour with a friend. The summer temps in AZ alone might keep Dilli at bay (that and air fares) Until autumn at least which time I will be switching to some lovely ryes and bourbons and Manhattans made with said lovely ryes and bourbons. Oh, and single malts and Irish whiskeys (Redbreast in particular). And, no, I don't drink and ride!
This evenings drink du jour. No Hendrick's involved but, d*mn this local IPA is delicious. I've no idea why the establishment in which I ordered it doesn't have any beers on tap but, hey, in a pinch a can will do. Dragoon is a now well-established local Tucson brewery and this IPA is their flagship beer. Paired it with a couple of chicken tacos al Pastor. Yum-o! My friend had a couple of glasses of rosè. Billy, if they had thrown a couple of frozen strawberries in her glass, you'd have loved it!
It's English (I guess) but like a foreign language. I couldn't understand what he was saying either, but the kiss was loud and clear!
Steady on, Pink Gin is one thing, I think Rose (a fruit based drink for girls, according to my pub landlord) is a step too far!
Well it is only the 2nd! I only managed 2 weeks out of the planned 6 week dry, what can I say, we was going out & I have no social skills!
