Walz is originally from Nebraska, but I suppose him just going home now is too much to hope for.

I spent the night with some Dewar's.

Fer cryin' out loud. Of course, I was celebrating. It's bourbon, not a Shirley Temple.

First time I've seen this thread.... don't know why I read it, I've been off spirits of any kind since the 80's and T-total for about 5 years, all health related!!

Don't you all feel lucky now? ;)

Trigger warning: I'm about to ruin someone's breakfast.

I don't know what the standards are outside the U.S., but our government allows for a certain amount of insect parts (wasps, flies, beetles) in breakfast cereal and other foods made with grain. This is because it's impossible to winnow out 100% of these bits when processing millions of pounds of grain.
I read that if one eats a lot of dried cereal, over your lifetime you will have eaten between ten and fifteen pounds of bugs.

Still won't keep me from eating my Cheerios.

My daughter and granddaughter got back from their trip to Ireland on Saturday. She brought me this:

    Bush.jpg

You can't get this version of Bushmills outside of the Emerald Isle. I uncorked it Saturday night. Very nice! Smooth...

I may have to send her back for more.
