@Oldskool, I made an Old Fashioned in your honor this evening. It required a bit of adaption under the circumstances but you motivated me and it was well worth it.
Very, very carefully, @Oldskool! I actually stabbed the end of the orange with a sharp fork and then held that with my left/“bad” hand, while I cut with my good right hand. It was a bit touch and go there for a minute, but well worth the effort.
Bravo…. Well improvised, exceptional effort. Showing all the signs of a professional drinker there. Good work…!

No offense, @Pegscraper, but I had the, er, "opportunity" to taste Marmite one time years ago on a scuba diving trip and wasn't keen on it (understatement). I'd need a six pack of beers to wash down that dose of Marmite on your crackers. But to each his (or her!) own.
We have a saying over here Sandi, "it's Marmite" which can describe anything that you either love or hate. Marmite is certainly that IMO and not something you can grow to like which I think is down to it's high saltiness which you no doubt discovered! The beer in the photo was a very nice brew and the first of several by the way!
