OMG have not seen that for years. Many years ago I used to go to the quay side in Newcastle for a pint before the match. They had Old Peculier on draft. Rocket fuel I seem to remember
I had one of these yesterday afternoon while listening to Mr. Sandi and our friend, RS, play their guitars over beers in the backyard. I'd have snapped a photo of the actual bottle but Mr. Sandi threw the empties out before I thought of it. I bought this IPA on a whim at Trader Joe's last time I was there. I've had Lagunitas IPA's before but this was a special release. I'll be getting more of it before it's gone! Yum!!! And it packs a bit of a wallop so it's a good beer to drink in the back yard. This is from Beer Advocate
It was a Negroni for me out in our backyard. Soon it will be too hot to sit outdoors in the late afternoon/early evening around "cocktail hour" so I'm enjoying it immensely while I can.
Nice one Sandi. We're still getting overnight frosts here so we're sat inside with the heating on. When it comes to an evening tipple though, rain or shine, I'm sure you'll agree the show must go on!
Yesterday evening I sat in the back yard to observe the bird activity and had this Aviation and some roasted cashews. The birds were unusually quiet but the cocktail was good.
Thus far I have never contributed to this thread. There is a plan. I propose to wait a bit longer for a few more entires and then try every drink suggested over a weekend. It’s been so nice knowing you.
