Happy hour in the back yard. I’m the bartender tonight. This Is a Manhattan made with Redemption rye, Dolan vermouth, and Angostura bitters plus a Luxardo cherry and a lemon twist. I haven’t tried adding the lemon twist prior to this evening but saw it touted in an Esquire article on Manhattan’s. It’s a nice twist!

Or maybe defective ice, ODA. It's one of those glasses you freeze with an insert so half the glass ready for a pour and the other half is ready to chill it.
As I'm waiting for my slow cooking short ribs I thought I'd have a wee snifter.. the dog is waiting, too...
