Greene King brewery Bury St Edmunds Suffolk. Great place to visit if you get over. Where the Magna Carta was drawn up. (Signed at Runnymede)

"Some people call it appreciation, I call it appropriation," he said.

"It's that entitlement disease they've got. Stop it. Use your own language"

I got an e-mail today from High West Distillery in Utah as I'm on their mailing list. I've had this delicious whiskey in the past but unfortunately there's none currently in our cabinet. Hmm, I sense an errand in the Mustang is in order tomorrow.) Anyway, since there's none to be had this evening, it's NOT what I'm drinking tonight.

But in reading the "specs" on this offering, I just had to share them with my forum buddies because, well, we actually have a thread called "Who Ate All the Pies". Scroll down....

I knew I didn’t like whiskey for a reason, just having a look at their sensory notes “ smells like chimney soot” . That backs up my thoughts on whiskey precisely...:scream:

Happy weekend to those that can. Hopefully I will not be called in. Nice brew at my favorite place on the river. Ride out from work with Lucifer, who has been having some coughing fits. Maybe COVID. Where can I fit the mask?

Oh my, I just watched the drunken interview. As you said, DD, what could possibly go wrong?? :p You said it's "drinkable for the price". How much is it?

So if you give the Pogue's a proper trail run tomorrow, DD, will you drink it out of a Camelbak like this? :joy: Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Those pesky vowels want to change places with each other sometimes and create all sorts of problems. ;) But....maybe you secretly are a trail runner??

And for those that don’t know the meaning of the bands name, it’s from "Pogue Mahone" – the anglicisation of the Irish Gaelic póg mo thóin, meaning "kiss my arse". !
