That colour has to be one of the best, it really does the bike justice. Overall a great looking bike. Love it.

Our paths may cross. I will certainly recognize your bike if I see it.

When you don't feel like dealing with Mr Triumphs low stock levels and uncertain supply times. Not bad for a lazy Sunday afternoons work.

I took the cover off with the view of fitting Givi engine bars to my street twin, then it clouded over so thought better of it,(bikes outside )I have new LED indicators ,Triumph levers and black alloy stantion tubes that need to be fitted.Looked at the Speed 400X yesterday, very nice indeed, would suit me really at 72 with back issues but the Street twin looks and sounds so good,i have fitted so many bits and drilled out the standard exhausts baffles,i will keep it for as long as possible ! Helmut and I had a nice ride out to The Piston Club today; just over 100 miles and we even managed to get back just as the rain started which is a small win. The Striple is FILTHY though from the wet roads, but I have left it as we're likely out again tomorrow and it's pouring with rain now.

Today we went to the first meet of the year at HR4K which is pretty local to us; the turn out wasn’t bad for a damp weekend in February!

Managed to get a short ride in. Over the hill to Bolton Abbey, Parcevall hall, Greenhow, Pateley Bridge, lofthouse, Leyburn, Reeth, Tan Hill, Buttertubs, Fleet moss and back down Wharfedale. Great to be out even if only a short 120 miles. The bike took some cleaning though.

We got another three inches of snow the other day. Temps are in the thirties. The roads are pretty clear, but there are icy patches.

So, what am I doing with my Triumph today?

I'm sitting on it in the garage making vroom, vroom noises.

Triumph brand "highway bars" were no picnic fitting on the Speedmaster either. Had a hell of a time.

I got out today for a bit. It felt great. Temps are starting to moderate. It was in the mid 60s. Spring is on the horizon, but I'm not breaking out my swim trunks yet. We could still get clobbered. One of the worst blizzards we ever had was in April '77. Mother nature can be cruel.

Glad you were able to get out for a bit of a ride in February, @Fork Lock! Having grown up in Minnesota, I know what you mean when you say you could still get clobbered. I remember a blizzard in early May one year! That's just wrong. The only saving grace was that we knew that at least the snow would melt fast.
