Well, dang. I sure hope you feel better soon. I'm sure it doesn't help to feel like crud while on a ship. I'm sorry to hear about Mrs. Oldskool's fall. Those mojitos can wreak havoc! Perhaps it's better to blame it on the high curbs. Cozufell....clever! I'm NOT going to call it that, however, lest that moniker sort of rub off on Mr. Sandi and me. I think we may head back down there in October during fall break for some more dive time.

BTW, I fell while getting off a live-aboard dive boat in Belize and actually broke my arm! At least it was on the 2nd to the last day there and I didn't miss any diving. But getting hurt in a 3rd world country isn't good. I didn't go to a hospital while there since we were flying out the next morning. Traveling was a bit challenging on the way home from that trip.

Today I met with @smilnjack (Alan) over at Yondermans cafe for breakfast. We then had a ride around the high peaks. Some fantastic scenery even if some of the roads surfaces were a little on the wild side.
We stopped for a coffee at The Barrel Inn, which is the highest pub in the Dales. We parted company and I headed for home stopping for a coffee at the Cat and Fiddle on the top of the moors. A cracking days riding with the bonus of catching up with an old forum member.

That Powerbronze screen looks great on your street triple, @Mrs Visor! I have the same screen, also in the dark tint, on my speed triple.

 

I’m sad to say I believe he walked away, @ Oldskool. I miss his presence and contributions to the forum and am hoping that he will return.

 

Yes he did walk. He did ask me to say hi to everyone. He is doing fine. Got his bonnie back on the road and has a full order book for work, so happy days

Had the 600 mile oil and filter done. Then a couple of hours around the Dales. Glorious weather for it.

 

Glad to know that Alan is doing well, @Wessa. And that he has his bonnie back on the road, too. Please give him my best if and when you ride with him again. And tell him I hope he comes back to the forum, too!

 

I took my Trophy for it's MOT, that makes it 20 years old now and I've owned it from new. It passed no probs.... Was a great day for a ride out round the country lanes to celebrate... It's now tucked up in the garage.
I mentioned a few weeks back about blue smoke on startup after it had sat for a couple of months. Well I've been using it for the last few weeks with no blue smoke, so I reckon I just mucked up the redex dosing in December and it's now been diluted by fresh fuel. I saw a petrol station selling juice for just 153.9pence per liter.... I nearly stopped in just for the fun of it.

 

Riding the roads of west Wales, avoiding the big tourist draws, bloody fantastic day with Mrs W. Tresaith, Aberporth, b roads around Carmarthenshire, Cardiganshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Blisd
