Definitely better to look at! However, I'm now waiting for my mates to arrive to watch the F1 start of the season - that might be worth seeing...

Went to start the T595 up but wound up only stretching the starter motors legs. Suspect the spark plugs are fouled with being sat for so many years. Got as far as the coils and realised I don't have the right spark plug socket and halfords is now shut... tomorrow's job - halfords 20210328_163331.jpg

To each his own, I suppose. This season looks much more interesting with Red Bull in a position to challenge Mercedes.

Full service of rear caliper on my 2010 Speed Triple
Dust seal had snagged and was pushing out between the piston and caliper (discovered this while cleaning it out last week)
Ordered the caliper kit from eBay for £20 and did it over the weekend

-Removed caliper, used pedal to push pistons out evenly and then popped out the stuck one
Drained the oil, pulled out the seals and gave the whole caliper a good clean.
New seals slid in easy enough with the supplied red grease
Cleaned the pistons with very super fine sandpaper
New rubber things for the sliding whatsit
With the pistons fully in, I used a syringe to push oil through from the caliper to the reservoir
Then using a separate syringe to suck out the old oil that was in there
Undid the hose bracket so I could hang the caliper on the indicator stalk for 10 mins so any air in the pipe can rise
Replaced the caliper using copper slip only where necessary
Bled it as best I could and then loosened the bolt on the brake pedal cylinder to bleed air from there too - quite a bit came out
Now it is lovely and stiff and very responsive.

    Took about 1 hour

Just as suspected, the plugs were fouled. Cleaned them up and she fired up straight away. Will get some new plugs tomorrow and book a test IMG-20210329-WA0066.jpeg

After days of torrential rain ( flash floods and tornadoes locally) we were blessed with a sunny spring day , made it out for a 3hr ride, the pollen is THICK (3675 ..high is considered 200) but it was grand
