Early start this morning. I'm making a trip to Welshpool. My misses wants me to drop off a present for her sister. My misses doesn't do pillion anymore. She prefers the comfort of the car.

I've got a wife like that, it would appear. Must be an age thing!

Welshpool is just under 4hrs from here, so you shouldn't be too long!!

Just got back from Welshpool and mid Wales. Weather was pretty good all in all. Some fog patches in places but good biking weather.
Did a total of 290 miles, great fun.

I like the run to Welshpool. Good A roads, very good motorways and some excellent B roads. The minor roads around Welshpool are excellent too.
I like to combine the use of all roads in a days riding. The motorways are a doddle when I'm riding the Trophy SE.

Sorry, I don't have a camera. However the show was excellent. Some marvellous machines that were way out of my range. I rather liked the Triumph stand.

Up early getting ready for another trip to Southwold. I'm going again on the Explorer XC. I'm totally smitten with this machine and I can't wait to get my own. Roll on the new year.:upyeah:

Just back from Southwold. Rode back in the night to test out the lights on the Explorer XC. They are brilliant. Probably some of the best lights I've used. I took a route across the fens and avoided a good part of the A47.

Another good ride out clocking 310 miles. Great fun.:upyeah:

Had a nice lay in this morning. Waited for the frost to clear, then a trip around the various dealers to find that elusive flip front helmet. The search goes on.

Took the Explorer XC out today for a last run before my mate comes to collect it. The weather was pretty dire, but I found the ride very exhilarating. Covered just over 120 miles around the Peak District.

I will miss the Explorer. It's been great fun to ride.:upyeah:

Still got it until Monday Steve. It's in pristine condition. All steam cleaned and polished. I'm certainly going to miss it.
