Today I've been playing with handlebars. First I fitted some risers... Only kidding, was experimenting to see if I could squeeze and inch rise out of the cables and the answer is: not really. Past half lock the brake line rubs very lightly past the slot it the top yoke where the pinch bolt is. If edges were smoothed of, I reckon it'd probably be safe. But 'probably' don't cut it where front brakes are concerned (no pun intended). Next I made satnav mounting neater. Before... After...
As it is a nice day took the speed for a little run to check new brake pads. Also to check coolant and oil levels after recent change. All good.
VULPES!!!!Please tell me where/how you got the supersprox rear sprocket? I'm after one and i'm getting the run around from uk websites if it's actually available! Gorgeous bike (and day/view btw!) and perfect country to enjoy. Eindhoven is perfect!
Cheers for the compliments @ducatitotriumph ! Can't help you with the sprocket, I'm afraid. It was on the bike when I bought her two years and 10.000 miles ago... bike's not too shabby for a 15 year old, I don't think... If ever in my neck of the woods I'll happily show you the sights! I'm just south of Utrecht.
Not done anything with the bike since we’ve had a bit of weather. On a side note just found out that the last speed camera in Tennessee was deactivated and removed last month as the state has deemed them illegal. We still have traffic light cameras but at least it’s a win getting rid of useless speed traps.

Had a quick look on the web and found this, looks like you should have no problems with these pads .... https://mechanics.stackexchange.com...ake-rotors-or-brake-pads-for-more-than-a-year
Today I went to dealers and returned with a brand new Bonneville Speedmaster, or rather, that's what it felt like I had rear shock replaced under warranty because the old one was making 'slurping' noises and had lost all it's damping. Also, I still have intermittent fuelling/running problems so they downloaded diagnostics from bike and sent them to Triumph for analysis. Whilst they were at it, they did a throttle rebalance and that's now made the bike much more responsive when accelerating I noticed that immediately because it brought back the familiar jerkiness going between no throttle and some throttle, or back again. Basically, bike now feels how I remember it used too.
