In response to an earlier question, I ride my Explorer everyday regardless of weather and have been riding to work and bike since I bought it in September. Today, I opened the garage door and just looked at her knowing that tomorrow morning I will be fitting a secure locking system to the satnav holder and a new Kappa hard tank-lock bag, both recent Christmas presents.

Ride back from the holiday and Completed a days training to finish the 3 levels of rider skills to achieve a govt rebate on rego. Shoulders and neck felt the 3 tanks of gas today :p.
Great people to ride with across some awesome terrain of hills, seaside towns, and plenty of twisties  Coach was experienced racer and current senior super bike champ

Ah, Mr Dartplayer, have you noticed my post in the Lounge section, asking for suggestions from Kiwi's for my March visit? You look like someone who would have a wealth of ideas. I'm spending 3 days on the Coromandel Peninsula but unfortunately on 4 wheels rather than 2. Shame :(. Any recommendations welcome.

Went to the chilly willy run in Northampton!
Turns out it’s well named as it was a very close call getting back to the cafe toilet and rummaging around the thermals trying to find it....

Hi Beerkat, Happy to recommend all the tourist spots plus some gems. PM me the general location or areas in the peninsula you are staying and I can create a list.
From your moniker I can also suggest some neat by watering holes

    Got the forks rebuilt today,

    IMG_20200108_112951975.jpg

sorry @Duckadiledundee no pics it was a faf and needed to get my neighbour involved, so I didn't want him waiting around.

    IMG_20200108_133052715.jpg

Thanks for the advice about setting, the position of the lock nut and rebound adjuster, saved a load of hassle later, Im sure.

    IMG_20200108_161605962.jpg

The fork tool was very handy but probably easy enough to make your own.
When the forks were out I changed the front tyre too.

    IMG_20200108_161618381.jpg

    Can you spot the mistake?
I will start, putting it all together again tomorrow.

Its the only job I dont do I know I would scratch the wheels, even the tyre fitter says he wouldnt use levers on an alloy wheel.
Its on the right way now and waiting to go back on.

Women are allergic to me, they get angry rash, so I can leave my washing on the draining board, not a bad life as it happens.
The oil was in good shape, still had its colour, if I could have seen it before I started I would have left it alone.

Put some new (to me) Triumph OEM bar end mirrors on my T120 Ace and changed the oil filler cap to a new black one!

Today I did some sandwich making and some sewing. No, I've not joined the WI, it's something for Growler.
