Hi Dartplayer, notice you have different rider footrests. Can you let me know what make they are. Look great on your bike. Thanks
I was given a torque wrench and a 46mm socket for my bday, so I had the rear wheel out to check the rear brake pads. Some cleaning might be in order!
Hi @Campernan, Product off WISH shopping app. Prices fluctuate, so best to monitor. Uses same return springs and I needed some packing washers.
39 degrees (F) here in the Chicago area, I installed tabs to remove the throttle slop in my Speed Twin. Then I went out for a 15 mile ride to see how they worked. They worked great.
It's our 35th wedding anniversary So we are staying in a special small hotel in Mullalyup . The Blackwood Inn, Inn Keeper's house ! First picture is us about to leave our daughter's also her anniversary 1st , second is our welcome Capt
Loving your set up @capt What model trailer is that I’ve sold my trailer and Speedmaster tow bar to a newbie on here So when I get my R3R I’m gonna make a rack for carrying to start with (no pillion) Then when I get the Rocket and have a better look at it I’ll see if I can fabricate a tow bar Congrats on your 35yrs to you and your Mrs
You would probably have the power to tow this beast but might need to eat a few more cakes to get enough weight over the Rockets rear axle... Edit: This gal is offering her services as ballast at reasonable rates.
Went for a ride , visited Nannup , got there couple of hours after these were placed at memorial. The Rose garden flowered appropriately Was a beautiful day out 27°c unlike our ride from Northam WA to Waroona 41°c recorded in Perth ! Probably hotter along our inland route taken on our travels to get to Mullalyup. Nannup junction , choices .... choices , well all were good options , plenty of twisty roads through the forest .. did 200 odd klms and had really enjoyable day out. Cheers capt
Had a nice 130 mile round trip to RAF Duxford yesterday. Bit chilly but the day was great. Hundreds of bikes. Only took one piccy as just had phone for a camera. Traffic was a bit heavy going at times but still worth the effort. In the shade behind a hanger so not a lot of good.
Yesterday I returned the speed twin back to stock. Today I gave it a final wash and brush up before it is collected on Wednesday. I then put the t'bird LT into it's bubble for the winter.
did one more minor mod, swapping the stock black headlight brackets for a chrome set to match the chrome chainguard I added which goes well with the chrome side panels. I also recently swapped the long back mudguard for the shorter type from a newer model......and then it broke down and I had to push it about 0.4 miles back home ffs
Took advantage of the break in the rain today to get out for a quick spin. Nice to see the old red phone boxes getting a second life...
