I think the bike was running hot through some Hills, and maybe the breather in the crankcase wasn't sufficiently big enough to allow pressure to balance/vent. Anyway all good since, now done 300 odd klms and no issues. Capt
I actually don't know how many there are but I am a deerstalker so have an interest. These were about 1/2 mile down from the Spittal of Glenshee ski lift. The time was around 18.30 which is around the prime time for deer collisions so i consciously decided to back it right off. Sure enough about 2 mile further on, on what would normally have been a slightly blind fast right hander, there was literally another 30 or so, stood on the tarmac or thereabouts, just crossing the road. My arrival surprised them and so running they presented an endless line left to right. To then make matters worse the alpha male did a u turn deciding my left verge was safer. Naturally the whole chain u turned Think about it; instantly presented with this scenario where's your escape route now? Ride safe guys.
when we (Scottish 2019 road trip) were heading down glenshee after having breakfast at the ski centre on Saturday half a dozen ran right across the road in front of me luckily I was taking it easy
Good contrast on the photo - what camera/ phone do you use? With that lid and goggles, I do think you should be called Biggles... Is that Newlands Corner?
Here in Kununurra , leaving @ about 10 am, Cross the border into the NT about an hour's ride from here. Yesterday I used a car wash ! First water to hit the Bike for over a month. Needed it after the Oil leak from gear selector. Now got Back Brake back !!! Here's our set up in the Lakeside Resort. Bike looking as new as a Ten years old can. Cheers Mick Brenda capt
iPhone 5 ( so old fashioned) Yup newlands that of the most expensive cup of tea in the country! Small paper cup £1.40 out of a pot that holds around a gallon and a half and 5 teabags. Work out the profit in that
Now in the NT , Katherine tomorrow. Watched Fresh Water Crocodiles being fed. They are strange looking creatures. Also so bats in the trees by the Victoria river. Brenda took photos of the Crocs being fed , I did HD video, so can't post them whish I could. No problems with the bike, I bought a seal from Kununurra Honda ! Seal was for a 5 HP Honda auxiliary power motor cost $6, I'll keep it just incase might still need it. Just won't replace it unless I have access to better facilities ...! Cheers Mick Brenda Capt
Yeah @dilligaf there's plenty of it around these parts . The population is sparser , population for Timber Creek is 300 fresh water Crocs about 20 just behind the Hotel, for about 200 metres of river. Cheers capt
