The local DIY didnt have any, and cos its council its an Emergency Repair. I dont understand how the barrel can just fall out of the lock. It was on the end of the key and little brass tumblers all over the ground. The last they it did before it died, was open the door, so I couldnt lock it.
I'd love to! Might not be able to do this week, but certainly before the summer's gone! I'm just off George 5th avenue.
Strange sort of day. The Locksmith arrived, and fixed the door, he told me, over a cuppa, about his son, who is now a Paraplegic after a bike accident two years ago. I got 8 miles along the road and the Police are loading a smashed bike onto a Recovery Lorry. No sign of any people, It looked like a car pulled out of a side road The bike looked like and old tourer BMW. Im pleased with my suspension settings, cos after 50 miles I realised I hadnt thought about it at all, so to my way of thinking it must be right. Loads of bikes out, all sorts.
Just need to add my best wishes to everyone else's for your speedy recovery, Dave. Would it seem a little harsh to add the words 'clumsy bugger' to this topic? Just asking!
Well, I went out yesterday on Doris with an open face helmet on. Health and safety wore my inear earphones that pretty well block out all sound. Don’t usually wear them, now I can’t hear a thing!
