Rode it...... ( it's been a sat idle for about 3 weeks ) Great day out but those country lanes are full of crap and water washing off the hills.
After dithering for a while I bit the bullet and spent a couple of hours in the garage this afternoon finally getting rid of this. And replacing it with this As I expected from all the reviews, the quality is first class, it really does look OEM and makes the rear of the bike look much more purposeful. I’ve ordered a slightly smaller plate so the “MOT” plate is fitted at the moment.
Last chance ride before the offspring arrive for Christmas. Me and one other bike at the Haven near Salisbury.
Fitted an 8x6 plate and managed to escape all the pre-Christmas madness and get out for a ride for a few hours, a bit cold but a nice afternoon.
Took the speedmaster for a run. Roads a little greasy to start out, but dried up nicely as time went on. Can't believe the conditions at this late stage in December, no salt on the roads yet.... brilliant conditions for a winter ride! Wessa
