Well....A Triumph.....i borrowed Lesleys Went to the Squires xmas run to Thirsk . Had a great crac with some new friends I think they think im Crackers ......i dont know why...
Hi havit The thunderbird pictured, has it had a smaller front wheel fitted, it looks smaller than an 18 inch? Pete
Weather said dry, for today. been saying it for days. Rain today so I didnt go to far, a run up to Elgin.
Got this heap of bits Pillion Rests, Original heels plates ,levers, exhausts ,tank inserts, and reservoirs .
No more polls ,or threads ,for opinions and thoughts on various bikes,Ive annoyed you guys enough with my inability to just "buy a Bike".
In the rain I dont really know yet and it looks like rain for the next few days.Very light handling, I think the forks are far to far through the head stock. What do you think? The bike is immaculate and local ,3000 miles otc ,loads of Carbon which I might change back ( Im not the biggest fan ) new Road Pilots 4 ( I think ) heated grips ,Crash Bungs. When I do the math I got a good deal too. Very pleased and the Scorpion isnt super loud which suits me, I do love the look of the Low Boy .I wouldnt have choosen red but I like it.
Thats why I had to sell the Sprint ,I was getting mobbed in the street, everyone demanding to know "where did you get that great Topbox" .Eventually I just couldnt take it any more. I did try to buy a gun at one stage ( for protection ) but because of the gun laws in this country I wasnt able to fully protect myself and my top box so I had to sell the bike, Dude.
One of the qualities of the speed triple is its fast steering, they are even better fitted with supercorsa or rosso 3's and it won't take long for you to adapt to its wonderful handling
Nice one I'm with Dilli on the colour Red is almost as good as black,i would keep the carbon bits there's not too much of it,you forgot to mention it has the triumph bar end mirrors, they look great..bloody expensive to buy! it won't take you long to get used to the handling
Top buy Sprinter, lovely looking bike and bet it goes. Will even improve with the lines of the new pillion seat. Not a carbon fan, but you can’t beat the look of this one. Top notch
Nice looking bike there Sprinter. Re the forks there is a line around the fork leg under the top yolk, there should be a 5mm gap between the line and the top yolk. Check if the previous keeper has had it lowered at the rear, that could explain if the front is low in the yolks
Speed Triple. Had a look today and getting the battery out after a ride wont be quite as easy as lift seat and remove. Its remove panel unbolt tank at the front then remove, it has to be done cause its a lock-up with no power, and I take the battery home in cold weather to put on a tender in the house. The bike has an immobiliser and so no problem taking battery out and in again is there? I dont remember. The wheel Bobbins off the Sprint will fit with a tiny faf so good news there. Im looking at paddock stands ATM although I think Ill wait and get the ABBA with the front wheel lift.
