Did one of my little routes yesterday on the Street Triple, my house to Glossop, over Woodhead, A616 for a mile or so, right onto Mortimer Rd then right onto the Snake. The Snake was shut at Ladybower reservoir. So went further into Derbyshire, don't know where but it was nice. Eventually saw a sign to Chapel-en-le-Frith which I know so followed the signs to it and knew my way home from there. On the way, saw a guy on a cruiser style bike join the traffic a few vehicles in front of me, he had a sack/bag on his back with his dog in it. Didn't get a good look but the dog seemed happy enough. Stopped to take a pic of my steed:

Today I set out on my Bandit to go to the local Asda. I got what I wanted then decided to do a couple of miles but ended up doing the reverse of what I set out to do yesterday. I stopped at the mobile greasy spoon by Ladybower reservoir and asked the woman why the road was shut yesterday. Sadly she told me that two bikes had shot past and at some stage had collided with a car. They were helicoptered to hospital. Let's hope they both survive intact.

Unfortunately not , my parents had a caravan near there a couple of years ago and the road works were there then , not sure when it's due to be finished.

Thought I would take a ride round the coast road of Norfolk Sunday and I normally end up at Hunstanton for a coffee before heading home. When I got there this lot were there. This is just a few of them.. What the small bike is I have no idea as I could not find a name on it. Prize has to go to the lass who was wearing the helmet though.

Got both my Motone covers ready to install. I opted for the black, which is an exact match to the factory finish. Even though it’s a bolt on part I couldn’t help but add a little touch of my own.

Put on some ACF-50 to help keep speedy looking good. They’re right in that it makes the plastics look great. Hope it protects the spoked wheels, so will keep an eye on this over summer ❤️

Nick Hall and I went out on the Oakley MC annual Memorial Ride. 50 bikes with half a dozen or more pillions. In memory of deceased club members. About three hours all in, round some of our favourite roads, and back to the club for sausage 'n chips.

Frustrating following Harley riders though. They go gang busters on the straight bits. Then you find yourself braking to a standstill when you come up behind the feckers pretty much walking them round the twisty bits. Still, bite your lip cuz it's all in a good cause.

I put the thunderbird to bed for the winter today. Treated her to a carcoon bubble; hoping it will keep her nice and dry and the rust at bay through the winter.... anybody else looked at or got one.
