Nick Hall, figwold and I went for a bimble on one of our favourite new routes, but in reverse this time for a change. Street Scrambler, Thruxton R and Tiger 800. More of the fabulous Kimbolton Road, B6047 and B604. Had a bit of a chase with an impatient sports bike rider who annoyed me on the B1176. Our second time on this road which is popular with bikers, first time in this direction. I wasn't impressed by the overtaking maneuvre as we came out of a 40mph section, I know I shouldn't, but wtf, I set off after him to see how good he was. We ran out of road though. Later on we were overtaken by idiots speeding past us and cars across double white lines on blind bends and hills. Seriously dangerous. I left those fools to it.
Two bikes came at the bus on the wrong side today, the first was to close and the second was plain lucky that the car, and myself, made room. He tried to look cool, he couldnt hide the true expression which was a cross between praying and " I fu3k3d up"
It was the last day of our Bike Fest activities, and after many years of doing this, I finally got the lovely wife to understand something. She keeps telling me to 'Slow Down' when I pull away from each stop light (actually everywhere). My response is that 'I can't.' She asks - 'Why Not?' I tell her - 'There is only one speed.' She asks - 'What is it?' My response is 'Faster than the Harleys - they can only be in my rear view mirrors.' She says - 'I'm cool with that.' My life's mission is accomplished. Life is good.
Took the Speedy out for a 120 mile blip yesterday taking in a large chunk of the Jurassic coast road, awesome views.
Heading back home from Saint Marie tomorrow. The Speedy boys are loaded ready for the morning Great holiday though
Well, i left my Triumph in the garage, and took a ride up to Skeg Vegas on herindoors ducati monster................ I feel soooooooooooooooooooooooo ashamed and violated by the experience.

Too windy to ride today so gave the speed trip a good clean, not really been done since I got back from Belgium, then the postie arrived with these so I slotted them on. Cheers Dave C, they are spot on .
Took a couple photos at a dealership I visited today. Saw this painted on the wall outside the shop and couldn’t resist riding up onto the sidewalk for a shot.
Had a couple of hours on the speedmaster today. It p@ssed down with rain after 10 minutes, got wet so decided to go for it anyway. Had a great ride; bike is now filthy, so cleaning job as soon as we get a clear day.. Wessa
I know how you feel. It seems every other time I’ve been on the bike this summer I end up getting drowned.
Fitted TTP stage 1 tuning kit to my '07 Bonneville T100. Looking forward to a test ride this weekend if it stays dry enough.
Was absolutely freezing so I went out for a long.... 20 minute ride, came back to tried something out, didn't take long and I'm not sure about it yet and neithers Rosie. So I told her to take the night and talk it over with the others.
Opened the garage door and saw the big black clouds coming towards me, shut the door and opened a bottle of Tullamore dew instead.
